Welcome

I am board certified in child and adult neuropsychology by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology and am a Fellow in the National Academy of Neuropsychology.

My service encompasses life-span work.  I work with all ages, as young as 6-months to older adults (the oldest was 108).  I believe that the life-span focus is of particular benefit to children and adolescents I see because I have a lot of experience with the long-term nature of neuropsychological disorders and how they present at different developmental stages.

As a professional holding a masters degree in language pathology I bring special expertise to the assessment to young children with delayed language development or school age children with disorders of phonological processing and reading.  I also see college age adults for evaluation of learning disabilities.

My approach to clinical neuropsychology is to tailor my services to the unique and individual characteristics of my client. I have extensive expertise in assessing individuals from diverse ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I study the culture of the individual scheduled for assessment so that I can provide a culturally sensitive and ecologically valid result.  I use certified interpreters from all over the world.  I specialize in accommodation to individuals on the basis of age, education, culture, ethnicity, linguistic background and special needs.
